Hardwood PAR, Sapele - 26 x 225mm, various lengths

Sapele is Dark in colour, usually a medium to dark-reddish brown, it is characterised by a well defined ribbon striped figure on quartered surfaces. The Grain is wavy with a fairly fine texture. Its durable and hard wearing, a Great timber to use internally and externally.
Oftern used for furniture and cabinet making, internal and external joinery, door frames, solid doors and gates, musical instruments, counter tops, cladding and mouldings.

Planed timber sizes are nominal and have smaller finished sizes, generally between 2-5mm. Timber size will also vary with moisture content - Wood naturally expands and contracts with moisture content so some changes in size should be expected.
